To coincide with the release of the third edition of their quarterly publication on the relationship between cinema and its architecture, the IFI is pleased to collaborate once again with the SET Collective to present this screening of Lena Dunham’s Tiny Furniture on Wednesday 25th September 2013.
Having returned home to her family’s Tribeca loft after finishing college, Aura, played by Dunham, struggles in an endearing but haphazard way to find her feet.
As well as establishing what has since become her familiar on-screen presence in Girls, the film is also striking in the way in which it uses space to convey a number of inter-connected ideas about both physical and psychological boundaries.
The SET Collective issue 03 launch is NOT an IAF event and is delivered by SET Collective for more information please visit their website.
