Peter Carroll from A2 Architects will be giving a lecture next thursday the 19th of December. The Lecture is under the title of Conversation with The City. This event is free and it will be held at The Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) at 8 Merrion Square, from 12:30.
‘In architecture the question of how one starts a career is absolutely central. Not by chance, architects have found in their formative works the basis for long-term interests, agendas and even obsessions. More interestingly, these beginnings often represent a kind of compressed architectural portfolio of an architects’ career, marking key discoveries, breaks or shifts in how they think, work and learn architecture.’ Peter Carroll
A2 collaborated with John Gerrard to create the Bench for Networking which can be seen The Everyday Experience exhibition, as part of IAF@IMMA, an exciting new initiative by the Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). IMMA has invited the IAF to occupy a gallery space during the Eileen Gray exhibition. The IAF@IMMA programme includes a series of talks, screenings, happenings, symposia and workshops.
