Bike Week 2012 will host events on Dublin’s newly redesigned street, Fade Street on Saturday 16th June at 12pm-12am. The aim of the Bike Yestival is to celebrate the exploding cycle culture that has grabbed our nation and be inspired by innovative bicycle-related projects. The street will be closed for the day to be transformed into a festival of everything bike-related. The Bike Yestival will feature a cycle-generated music stage with singer Luka Bloom and many other artists. Bike-fixing workshops will be on offer and Fade Street businesses will be hosting bicycle films.
In addition to this there will be cycle-powered smoothies, a bike Museum, a vintage bike and fashion show and an expo for Dublin’s great bicycle shops.
