Open House Limerick is to be held over the weekend of 19th-21st October 2012 and will be Limerick’s inaugural Open House event. Limerick joins a worldwide family of OpenHouse locations including London, New York, Helsinki, Melbourne, Slovenia and Irish locations Dublin and Galway. The Limerick event includes a diverse range of buildings in both the City and County.

This architectural festival comprises a weekend of events including site-visits, lectures, walking and cycling tours and children’s activities.

This year’s event also celebrates the work of Limerick born architect Andy Devane with a talk to be delivered by Shane O’Toole, architect and critic, at the event opening and access to his Limerick city buildings included in the open house programme.
