Architecture Republic presents a number of their projects at IN-HOUSE : An exhibition of domestic building projects in Abbey Road Artist’s Studios in Athlone. The exhibition will run from 17 February to 02 March 2012.  Opening times are Mon-Sat 1pm-4pm. On Friday 17th February @ 5.30pm there will be a wine reception and an introduction by Maxim Laroussi of Architecture Republic

The theme of the exhibition is the act of making domestic space; investigating innovative ways of housing the modern family in all its variants. As society develops and evolves, the accepted standard of the family house is no longer as relevant as it once was, and as a society we must adapt and grow our housing stock in ways which meet the challenges of this new orthodoxy. The exhibition will explore a variety of refurbishments, extensions, conversions and new-build housing on urban-infill sites. It consists of 20 projects each accompanied by drawings, conceptual images and scale models.
