Cork Evolves – Building Communities for the Future Seminar Series

Cork Evolves – Building Communities for the Future

Cork Evolves is a series of sessions across the summer. Cork City Council are working in partnership with the Tomar Trust, and the HSE to deliver this project – Planning for the future – social housing developments in Cork City. The project is intended to create a civic conversation in the city which would explore innovation and best practice in future housing development.

Exploring the challenges and opportunities for Cork from design, planning and creative perspectives. Cork Evolves are holding their final event in the ‘Cork Conversation’ series of talks on housing and Cork’s future development.

Previous topics covered new models for social and affordable housing and perspectives on sustainable communities.

These sessions are intended to be a platform to inspire and engage with members of public sector, HSE, planning, the social housing forum and the members of the housing as a steering group to learn about what other cities are doing and how we can apply those concepts in to Cork City and build better communities for the future
