We are delighted to announce the appointment of Parag Joglekar as the new Chair of the IAF.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Parag Joglekar as the new Chair of the IAF, commencing in November 2025.

Parag is Director of Investment and Development with Approved Housing Body Respond and a registered architect in Ireland and the UK. With over 25 years of experience across urban design, housing, regeneration and development, he brings a wealth of expertise and leadership to this role.

He succeeds Brian Moran, who has chaired the IAF since 2019. Over the past six years, Brian has provided outstanding leadership, support to the Director, advising the organisation with dedication and vision. Under his guidance, the IAF has strengthened its governance, expanded its national and international reach and continued to champion architecture as a cultural force. We are deeply grateful for his commitment and service.

Speaking on the announcement, Brian Moran said: “It has been a privilege to serve as Chair of the IAF. I am proud of the work we have achieved together and confident that under Parag’s leadership, the organisation will continue to flourish.”

Incoming Chair, Parag Joglekar, said: “I am honoured to take on the role of Chair at such a pivotal time for the IAF. I look forward to working with the Board, the Director and the IAF team to strengthen the impact of architecture in Ireland’s social, cultural and civic life.”

Parag joins the IAF at a pivotal moment, as we launch our new strategy and a new website and rebrand later this year. His experience and insight will be invaluable as the IAF embarks on this exciting next chapter.
