17 Goals. 1 School. And Minecraft.
is a project by the students of Presentation College Bray. As part of a whole-school initiative they collaboratively built a scaled Minecraft model of their school building. They manipulated this base model to design a more sustainable school, based on the UN Sustainable Development goals.

Achievements:
Winners ‘Most Innovative Award’ ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards 2018, they have presented their ideas to the Environmental Protection Agency and Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland and were a finalist in the Global UN SDG Action Awards 2018. Their work is architectural, spatial and visionary with regard to sustainability and the innovative use of Minecraft as a design tool.
Later, a group of transition year students relooked at the original base model of the school and redesigned areas of the building based on group discussions during the Architects in Schools Initiative.
