Alex has been Head of the Faculty of Design at the National College of Art and Design for three years and has vast experience in many aspects of design both from a practical and academic viewpoint.

He will be working over the next two years to ensure that 2015 becomes another significant milestone in the history of Irish design.

As a designer, educator, curator and author Alex Milton has promoted a critical, provocative and entrepreneurial approach to design, but most importantly, how we think about design. Originally trained as a car designer at Coventry University before undertaking a Masters at Central Saint Martins, he has worked and taught across a range of design disciplines over the past 20 years.
