The theme of this year’s CELT Symposium #CELT18 is Design for Learning. Explore the design and use of teaching and learning spaces in higher education, particularly those that facilitate active learning, collaboration, and student engagement. With a range of international keynote speakers, workshops, and discussion sessions, explore everything from state-of-the-art learning spaces to inspiring examples of ‘hacking the space’, libraries to learning commons, and physical to online, hybrid, and open environments.

Keynote speakers include:

Donna Lanclos – anthropologist, ethnographer, higher education policy advisor @DonnaLanclos

Alastair Blyth – architect, learning space designer, senior lecturer, Univ. of Westminster @AlastairBlyth
