Internationally acclaimed architect Steven Holl, of Steven Holl Architects, will present at the UCD Festival on the vision for UCD’s Future Campus. This exciting new project comprises the reimagination of the N11 entrance precinct, together with the design of a new Centre for Creativity which houses UCD College of Engineering & Architecture along with a range of other programmes and activities including exhibition and public engagement space.
The winning design draws inspiration from UCD’s iconic water tower and the Giant’s Causeway and promises to be one of Ireland’s most iconic pieces of architecture, providing a symbol of the ambition and vision of the University.
Steven Holl’s other works of note include The Museum of Contemporary Art in Helsinki, The Nanjing Sifang Art Museum in China and an annex to the John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C.
