The IAF are delighted to announce that our Site Specific short film about the new Dublin City Library planned for Parnell Square and designed by Grafton Architects has been shortlisted for the Architecture Film Festival London.
The film was one of eleven made by Dyehouse Films for Open House Dublin in 2020 and includes contributions from Pritzker Prize Laureates Shelley McNamara & Yvonne Farrell, City Architect Ali Grehan, Conservation Architect Grainne Shaffrey, Professor Christine Casey and City Librarian Mairead Owens. You can watch all of the films in the Site Specific commission by clicking here.
More than 270 films were submitted to Architecture Film Festival London this year, and 18 have been shortlisted, in 6 categories. Each of these will be screened during the festival in June. Ranging from documentaries to experimental shorts, these shortlisted works will be submitted to a 5-member jury, who will ultimately select the best film in each category. The winners will be announced on 25 June.
