The IAF is a creative not for profit organisation whose mission is to excite a wide audience about the cultural value of architecture. The IAF is an independent, open and accessible agency whose purpose is to encourage participation and new thinking in the built environment.
The IAF is ten years old and in that time we have engaged an impressive number of people in their built environment. We are looking for a Chairperson to lead the Board of Directors and work with the CEO, on developing and implementing the mission of the organisation, and to ensure we continue our successful trajectory.
A successful chairperson reflects the personality of the organisation, has experience and knowledge of the sector of Architecture and the Public Realm, and a thorough understanding of its cultural role and the part the Irish Architecture Foundation plays in supporting and developing a public awareness of the built environment.
The role is voluntary and the term is three years for a maximum of two terms.
If you think you are the right person and want to be part of a dynamic organisation, please download this PDF with more information on the role, and application procedure.
