Enjoy Open House Dublin online & onsite this weekend

12.10.21

Open House Dublin returns this weekend with a blend of online and onsite programming for all ages – over 100 free events in total! Visit the Open House Dublin website.

Open House Dublin 2021 turns its focus to the theme of housing, through a combination of online and onsite events and a second season of our captivating Site Specific films that showcase and celebrate the architecture of our capital. These films will be premiered at The Lighthouse on Friday 15 October and also live streamed on Facebook and YouTube and shown on a loop at the IAF headquarters (15 Bachelors Walk) during the festival.

Other highlights include a packed programme of indoor and outdoor tours (including boat, bus, bicycle, and running tours) over the weekend and The Big Debate – Living for the City panel on Saturday 16 October. This live event at the Complex Venue Smithfield will also be live streamed for home viewing.

Open House Junior returns with the Little Houses exhibition at the National Museum of Ireland – Decorative Arts & History (Collins Barracks), competitions, and self-guided Architreks trails to enable young people and families to explore and engage with local architecture in creative ways.

Most events are free but require booking, and tickets for tours and live events are going fast!

Visit the Open House Dublin website for the full programme and booking.

Virtual tours by guest architects will go live on the Open House Dublin website on Friday 15 October and do not require booking.
