Open House Belfast 17 – 19 July 2015

PLACE (Planning Landscape Architecture Community Environment) who do great things to promote architecture and design in Northern Ireland are organising the first ever Open House Belfast. They are in the early stages of planning a programme that they hope will offer the public new ways of viewing the city, with the ultimate aim of encouraging more public appreciation of good design and better planning solutions for Belfast.

They will open up 40 buildings and spaces in the city to the public, free of charge. The 40 locations will be a combination of contemporary buildings, infrastructure, spaces of activity and potential, as well as designers’ studios.

At this stage they need volunteers who are passionate about the city, architecture and design to make Open House Belfast happen. Email maggie@placeni.org for further information.
