Exhibition Ireland at Venice Publications

Of – A Book Made by Tom dePaor and Peter Maybury

06.03.12

‘Of’ is a reader to Ireland at Venice in 2010 and describes the anatomy within the making of the exhibition ‘of deBlacam and Meagher’ and then the subsequent tour of it. The style of writing mixes imagination with technical theory. Details about the choice of ink used in the paper stacks in the exhibition or considered thoughts by the curators into volume, scale and archive, are interrupted with surreal segues into unconventional deliberations about architecture, books and exhibitions.

‘Of’ is published by Gall Editions and supported by the Irish Architecture Foundation.

This event is part of the Irish Architecture Foundation initiative on architecture and publishing.
