Niall McLaughlin Architects appointed to design Worcester College new building

Niall McLaughlin Architects has been appointed to design a new £4.5 million performance and study centre for Worcester College, Oxford.

The building will stand at the other end of the college’s sizable grounds, beside MJP’s award-winning Sainsbury student accommodation building which was completed in 1984.
It will contain a theatre for lectures and performances, a multi-use dance studio, seminar and lecture rooms, a digital learning centre and a bar.

The practice beat Ian Ritchie, Hawkins Brown and Purcell.
