Bog Bothy Tour: Artist in Residence Open Call

We invite applications for a unique, embedded artist residency as part of the Bog Bothy Tour this summer.

Announcing a new IAF Open Call for an artist to work in Offaly and Meath with local communities as part of our upcoming Bog Bothy Tour – a summer of celebration of Ireland’s peatlands through architecture, design and community storytelling.

We invite applications from visual artists, architects, or artists from any form of arts practice or interdisciplinary arts practice for this unique, embedded residency as part of the Bog Bothy Tour.

This open call seeks a practitioner whose work is grounded in socially engaged, ecologically aware, and spatially sensitive practices. This opportunity offers space to respond creatively to Ireland’s evolving peatland landscapes through a collaborative and context-driven process of research, engagement, and making. The artist is expected to engage from the outset in a meaningful and inclusive way with a local community of place and/or interest.
