We are delighted to launch the annual Architects in Schools exhibition.
This year the exhibition moves online as part of Project 20×20 – A Year Like No Other.
This web-based exhibition is a celebration of the creativity of Transition Year students from all over Ireland. In total, 30 schools participated in the initiative during the 2019/20 academic year and design projects from 12 schools are profiled in this exhibition. Ideas and themes explored include architecture and film, inclusive design, structure, heritage and a re-imagining of school environments.
The exhibition is in two parts: a video overview (below) and a series of 12 Instagram posts, showcasing the students’ work in more detail.
Architects in Schools is funded by the Arts Council, the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht and the Department of Education and Skills.
