Abstracts are invited for papers for the fifth annual All-Ireland Architecture Research Group conference to be held in Cork 29 to 30 January 2016. The purpose of the conference is to not only engage with the seven schools of architecture in Ireland but also to encourage the participation of practising architects who wish to further their research interests.

Following the success of last year’s conference in Dublin, a call for sessions was issued in April. As a result of the positive response, thematic sessions have been selected. These include:

• Adaptation
• Film Architecture II
• On Architectural Education: Interim Review
• Co-Productions & Co- Habitations
• Digital Witness
• Women in Architecture
• Walking the City: Street vs Motorways
• Performativity Now and Then
• Person, Place, Time
• Divergence and Convergence; Tangents in sustainable research
• Water, Ecology, and Urbanism

Each session will be made up of approximately four 20-minute papers. Time will be set aside at the end of each session to allow for questions and discussion.

Abstracts with a maximum of 300 words should be e-mailed to aiarg2016conference@gmail.com and also to the session chairs as detailed in each session proposal. The paper proposal should include the title of the paper, the name/s of the participant/s, relevant contact details, curriculum vitae and professional affiliation where applicable. Deadline for abstracts extended until 5 October.
