Seán Harrington, Public Space, Our Space

VOL 8
July 22, 2015
@ The Sugar Club
Ice cream, rainbows, sandy sandwiches, socks and sandals. Whatever it is, get your summer buzz on with our summer edition of Pecha Kucha Dublin with Totally Dublin. Our spring event at The Grand Social was packed out of it so we’re moving to a bigger venue, The Sugar Club.

This time around, our speakers will be touching on topics like exploration, the outdoors, public space and the environment. Nothing major, then.

Our punmaster-in-residence Ciaran O’Gaora (Zero-G) was mastering ceremonies again and like last time around, we kept your cogs oiled with some complimentary Peroni.

Seán Harrington is an architect based in Dublin, has lived in Edinburgh and London and grew up in Berlin. Seán has a keen interest in the design, use, care and democratisation of public space, which can been seen in his projects including the giant umbrellas in Meeting House Square, the Millennium, the Rosie Hackett Bridge and the open air pallet-amphitheatre in Granby Park.

Seán speaks about public spaces, our spaces and Dublin.
