@ The Sugar Club

We got our mittens and scarves on for the last edition of #PechaKuchaDublin for 2015 in The Sugar Club, presented by Irish Architecture Foundation and Totally Dublin.
The Locals was setup by John Mahon, formerly a director with Bodytonic and responsible for setting up and running The Bernard Shaw Venue.

The Locals produce our own shows and collaborate with people on events around the city like markets, festivals, screenings, parties, pop ups, banquets, venues….these are the sort of things.

They do them under different names like Toejam, Telephones and The Eat Up. The Locals is the umbrella name for it all.

They’re from Dublin and proud of it. They know this city is world class and want to see it at the table with the like of Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Berlin. They’re doing to do their bit to help.
