In a bid to explore the theme of sustainable architecture and green technologies within the IAF’s National Architects in Schools Initiative (NASI), and to bridge the study of architecture with the STEM subjects, the IAF partnered with BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition 2017 to present a Special Award, with the Department of Arts, Heritage, Regional, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs for Sustainable Design and Innovation in the Built Environment, sponsored by the Government Policy on Architecture 2009-15.
