Writing Architecture Symposium

The Architectural Students Association at DIT School of Architecture is holding a Writing Architecture Symposium on Tuesday February 19th. The intention of this symposium is to pose certain questions; how can writing help to clarify design intention and to what extent can it aid as a design tool? The symposium intends to suggest a balance as well as providing examples of architectural writing and how they can clarify an architects theories.

Speakers include: Kevin Donovan (UCD and UCC), Anna Ryan (UL), Shane O’Toole, Shannon Chance (Hampton Univertsity and Fulbright Scholar at DIT), Noel Brady (DIT), Andrew Clancy (QUB) and Dominic Stevens (DIT), as well as recent architectural graduates.
