This year the IAF have the pleasure of taking part in St Patrick’s Festival from 12-17 March via a dedicated online channel, SPFTV on the festival website, www.stpatricksfestival.ie.

We’re looking forward to sharing some of our films with audiences here in Ireland and around the world, including We Built This City, three short films which chronicle the impact Irish people have had on the built environment in the cities of London, Chicago and New York.

You’ll also be able to tune in for our Site Specific series – eleven short films that showcase and celebrate the architecture of Dublin. The series includes a film about the Chapel Royal (appropriately festive stills above), in which Dr Myles Campbell discusses Dublin Castle’s gothic revival masterpiece. There are dozens of other fantastic events to enjoy, head to the festival website for more information.

The Site Specific Series was made with the generous support of the partners, sponsors and supporters of Open House Dublin 2020. We Built This City was curated by the Irish Architecture Foundation in collaboration with Irish Design 2015 and the Office of the Minister for Diaspora Affairs of Ireland.
