Thursday Lunch, a monthly discussion forum for people with an interest in the built environment, will resume at darc space on 21st February. RIAI President Michelle Fagan will lead the discussion on ‘Architecture and Community’, concentrating on the need for architects to become more proactive and take a leadership in their community and in society.

‘Architecture and Community’ is part of a new Thursday Lunch talk series dedicated to Alternative Ways – exploring innovative and parallel ways of practising architecture in a changing built environment, from product design to politics, philosophy, writing, art practice, energy and research. Curated by Sandra O’Connell, the series will run until June 2013.
