Grace Keeley and Michael Pike established GKMP Architects in Barcelona in 2003 before relocating to Dublin in 2004.  The practice is principally engaged in the design of domestic and public space. They completed a large urban landscaping project in Kilkenny in 2009 and have just completed a series of public spaces in the centre of Waterford.  They have built a number of domestic projects, with a series of these currently under construction or in development.  They have also recently finished the construction of a horse caravan base in Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow.  They have received a number of awards including First Prize in the recent Docomomo Central Bank Competition, with a proposal to change the 1970s office building into a secondary school.  Their work has been published internationally and has also been included in a number of exhibitions, including the ‘Rebuilding the Republic: New Irish Architecture 2000-10 Exhibition’ in Leuven, Belgium in May 2011.
