AAI Mentoring Forum

The AAI are hosting a series of new lunch-time Mentoring Forums at darc space, where practitioners of any level of experience can drop in and meet with colleagues to chat through any legal, contractual, design, client or business issues.

The first session takes place on Thursday, 5th July from 12.30pm – 2.30pm at darc space architecture gallery, 26 North Great George’s Street, Dublin 1 and is open to any AAI or RIAI member. While younger practitioners at the start of their careers will gain much from these forums, it is hoped that all participants will benefit from this mutual process and bring something to the table for discussion.

The Mentoring Form was conceived to provide a network of experienced colleagues for advice and guidance, against the backdrop of a significant number of new architectural practices, which have been established in the last five years and are working without support on their own. We are looking for those who can talk through issues in a friendly and positive environment, help identify any problems and signpost the way to possible solutions for their colleagues. You do not have to be an expert in any specific field.

The Mentoring Forum is eligible for Structured CPD Points, allowing 1 CPD Point for every hour structured learning.

If you are interested in participating please RSVP to Clare Finglas, RIAI, by 4th July 2012 to give us an idea of numbers, cfinglas@riai.ie
