This event, by the RIAI, to be held over two consecutive Monday’s in February, is an important opportunity to gain experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams on Urban Design projects focused on three relevant chosen sites in an intensive workshop format.

This collaborative multi-disciplinary event is open to Architects, Planners, Engineers, Landscape Architects, Surveyors and other professionals with an interest in Urban Design.

The aim of this event is to provide delegates with a broad picture of what is involved in the practice of urban design, from the statutory situation to the roles of the different professions. Delegates will choose to participate in one of three workshops, each led by a well-known practitioner in the field, aimed at providing hands-on urban design experience based on actual projects in three different contexts. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about this expanding area of professional practice and to gain valuable structured CPD points.
