Sketching Tour of Limerick

The sketching tour will take in a variety of historic and contemporary buildings and spaces including Pery Square and The Crescent, ending at the Milk Market

Join the Irish Architecture Foundation and Limerick City Gallery of Art for a sketching tour of Limerick inspired by the exhibition of de Blacam and Meagher. The tour begins with a viewing of the exhibition, followed by a walk around Limerick with architects Maria Donoghue and James Corbett. The sketching tour will take in a variety of historic and contemporary buildings and spaces including Pery Square and The Crescent, ending at the Milk Market at 1pm.
**please bring along your own sketch pad, pencils etc.

of de Blacam and Meagher, Ireland’s participation in the 12th International Architecture Exhibition La Biennale di Venezia in 2010 in Venice, commissioned by the Irish Architecture Foundation, will run in Limerick City Gallery of Art until 23 December. Ireland’s participation at Venice, and the exhibition’s return to Ireland is an initiative of Culture Ireland in partnership with the Arts Council of Ireland.
