See the entries to Cork’s Morrison Island International Design Competition, including the winning entry from HH+ and Francis Keane Architect, at an exhibition in the Crawford Building, Grand Parade, Cork. The competition was organised by the Cork Architectural Association with the support of the Architectural Association of Ireland and the National Sculpture Factory.

In addition to the exhibition, a symposium will take place on Saturday 3 February at 11am in G19, Kane Building, UCC. Speakers will include the winners of the competition, the 2nd and 3rd place entrants, A2 Architects and GKMP Architects, and  international flood expert, Erik Kraaij who is the Deputy Director of the Dutch Flood Protection Programme and who will present on the principles of tidal barriers and also the Cork Tidal Barrier. No booking required, just turn up on the day.
